2019 IndyScout 100: Kyle King

New Palestine DL Kyle King’s recruiting attention has blown up recently, with offers from Western Illinois, Illinois State, Navy, Tulane, Air Force, and many MAC teams.  He received his first Power 5 offer from Indiana over the Memorial Day weekend.

King, a 2020, 6’4” 235 defensive end, projects to be one of the state’s premier players heading into 2019.  King was a 2018 IFCA Junior All-State selection.  In 2018, King had 71 tackles (26 for loss) and racked up 18 sacks during New Palestine’s state championship season.

2019 Indy Scout 100: Preston Terrell

Columbus North wide receiver Preston Terrell cracks the #IndyScout100. The 6’3” 180 wideout caught 46 passes for 487 yards and five touchdowns in 2018, and expects to have a strong senior season. He is a multi-sport athlete, also playing track and field. 

Terrell, a 2021 graduate, was most recently offered by Purdue last week. He also holds an offer from Indiana State.

IndyScout 100: Kyle Adams

Today kicks off a series of profile posts highlighting the state’s top 100 prospects heading into the 2019 season. The posts are in no particular order, and the order of these posts should not be seen as as a ranking (IndyScout does not rank players and teams).

Kyle Adams led West Lafayette to a 15-0 state championship victory in 2018.  Last season, he led the state in passing yards, throwing for 4,616 yards and 51 touchdowns with only 14 interceptions.  He also ran for 352 yards with six rushing touchdowns.  His 2018 quarterback rating from Nike is 107.82, and he holds a 4.0 GPA.

Adams, listed 5’11” 178 at The Opening in St. Louis, has recently garnered the attention of college coaches.  He has offers from Indiana State, Wofford, Morehead State and Southern Illinois.
