What is your birthday?

December 15th, 1999.

Do you play any other sports? If so, which ones?

I don’t play any other sports. I played basketball up until sophomore year, and now I just participate in intramurals during the off-season.

Do you have any family members who have played the game?

Several members of my family have played football. My dad played defensive end and fullback at Valpo, and both of my uncles played running back at Valpo.

What motivates you to play football?

I love proving people wrong and competing. From the minute I got into high school I was always the underdog. In my freshman year I played 5th quarter; sophomore year I split time on JV with the guy who started over me the previous year, but my season was cut short after I dislocated my non-throwing elbow. After that, people counted me out, nobody believed in me, except my family and I. I put my trust in God and knew that everything happened for a reason. That offseason I had something to prove, and I did everything I could to win the starting spot my junior season. All the hard work paid off, but it’s just the start. I know when I get to college, wherever that may be, I will have to compete at an even higher level, and continuously prove people wrong while doing so.

What is your favorite memory so far as a high school player?

I will never forget beating Penn on senior night. It was the most exciting football game I’ve ever been apart of.

Have you had any recruiting attention lately? If so, who from?

I have not had a lot of recruiting attention lately. Most of that due to the fact that I was out 6 weeks with a fractured knee cap. The biggest part is letting colleges know that I am 100% healthy, and played the last game of the season. Hopefully once the college season is over I will start to hear more.

What are you looking for in a school?

The biggest thing I’m looking for in a school is quality academics. Using football as a way to help pay for a quality education is the ultimate goal. It’d also be nice to play somewhere where a lot of people go to the games and create a loud and exciting atmosphere, but at the end of the day I just want to play ball anywhere I get the chance to.

August 4

Do you play any other sports besides football?

No other sports.

Do you have any family members who have played football?

My uncle, grandpa, and cousin played in high school.

What motivates you to play the game?

The bond I’ve developed with my teammates and coaches motivates me more than anything else.

What is your favorite memory so far as a high school player?

My favorite memory thus far is winning regionals this year.

What are you looking for in a school?

More than anything, I want to go to a school with top notch academics. I’m more concerned with that than football.
