Lawrence North’s Maliq Carr (#53) leads the team in tackles.  He is a 6’2” 225 linebacker for the Wildcats and flashes quickness to shed blocks and strength at the point of attack, especially around the goal line and in short yardage situations.  He also takes good angles to the ballcarrier and exhibits quickness in pursuit.  He tells IndyScout that the only attention he has received so far is from the University of Indianapolis.

What is your birthday?

December 8, 2000.

What is your greatest memory so far as a high school player?

My greatest memory so far as being a high school football player has to be being able to go out on the field during my brothers’ senior year, and get in one snap with him along with one of my triplet brothers.

What motivates you to play football?

My family really motivates me to play football to the best of my ability.

Have you had any recruiting interest lately?  If so, where?
