What is your birthday?

My birthday is September 10, 1999

What has been the greatest memory as a high school player?

My greatest memory was my my junior year after a game these little kids ran up to me with there football and asked me to autograph it, and then I walked out towards my parents and more people ran up asking for pictures.

What motivates you to play football?

My motivation to play football is for my parents so they won’t have to stress about paying for college and for my grandmother who passed away last summer.

Do you have any relatives or family members who have played the game?

My dad played outside linebacker and offensive line at Manual High School.

Have you had any recruiting visits or offers over the past few weeks? If so, where? Any scheduled in the future?

I have been to Purdue’s Spring game and I received a offer last Friday from Indiana State.

What are you looking for in a college?

First I’m looking for a college who has a great school program so I can further my education, Second I’m looking for a fit, a place where I feel comfortable and feel that the other coaches and players around me will treat me as their family, and a place that I can become the best ball player I can be.

Tracy discusses Iowa commitment

Tyrone Tracy
Tyrone Tracy, a top-ranked running back from Decatur Central, committed to Iowa and caught up with IndyScout to discuss his decision.  The 6’0″ 185 running back had 10 other offers.

“Many factors led up to this,” Tracy said. “Everyone on the football staff there has a great sense of personality and a good character and I believe that starts with the head coach. (Kirk Ferentz) is a great coach and I want to be coached by him and by Coach (Kelton) Copeland.  They need me and they know they need me and they want me. I can tell they want me and I just can’t wait to be in that black and gold.”

Kellison commits to Miami-Ohio

Will Kellison, a 6’5″ 235 defensive lineman from Bishop Chatard, committed to Miami-Ohio last week.

“Miami was a school I could see myself as for school and football,” Kellison tells IndyScout. “It’s a beautiful place and it felt like a second home to me. Having kids for Chatard go to Miami that play football also helped me a lot. The commits reached out to me, also, and that was something special. It’s a great place and I can’t wait to be apart of it.”
